The Ruin of the Antichrist
Part 7 of 7

All of creation is moving toward an ultimate day of reckoning before its Creator. It will be the most dramatic day in human history! This day will mark the conclusion of the hellish seven-year Tribulation on earth. It will feature the awesome and majestic physical return of Jesus Christ from heaven with His armies. It will be accompanied by the most awesome display of creation as it highlights heaven’s final powerful victory over all wickedness and rebellion. It will be the day when the armies of hell, the Antichrist and his kings, are destroyed by Jesus Christ. This day will mark the end of human government by sinful men, which began in the days following the global flood (Genesis 9).
Everything about the wicked and diabolical person called the Antichrist has been preordained by the “Most High God” (this Name means “possessor of heaven and earth”). The Antichrist’s beginning and end have been appointed by God. So, the nature and moment of his end has been firmly established by the Almighty. The powerful kingdom of the Antichrist will be divinely consumed at the time of the end of this age (Daniel 7:26). The great prophet of Israel wrote about the Antichrist when he said, “He shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand” (Daniel 8:25). This simply means the Antichrist will come to his end by the direct hand of God Almighty. At his demise, he will be surrounded by the armies of the world (Revelation 19:17-21). Yet, they will not be able to defend him or prevent his predetermined calamity by the God of heaven. Daniel 11:45states, “He shall come to his end, and none shall help him.”
Israel’s current war with its evil enemies is far reaching. They are fighting a war that is bent on the destruction of the biblical values that were given to Israel 3,400 years ago at Mount Horeb (Exodus 19-20).The hellish enemies of Israel want to replace good with evil, peace with war, freedom with slavery, and God with Satan. It is an old war against God that reared its ugly head under the leadership of the grandson of Noah, Nimrod (Genesis 10:8-10). Nimrod’s kingdom was Babel in the land of Shinar (Genesis 10:10). What happened at the Tower of Babel was a global attempt to replace God with the worship of terrestrial objects [planets, sun, moon, and stars] and their orbits and arrangements (Genesis 11:1-6; Isaiah 47:12-13). It was Nimrod’s goal to establish a one-world kingdom without God.
History is repeating itself. Satan has another man, the Antichrist, who wants to establish a new-world order, a global kingdom without God. Like Nimrod, the center of this evil kingdom is in the same location – the Persian Gulf area in the Middle East (Revelation 17-18). The Holy Spirit directed the Apostle John to quote Genesis 11and Isaiah 47 as he wrote about the political capital of the Antichrist and his global religious center in Revelation 17-18.
The wickedness of man continues to escalate and grow stronger in its rebellion against God. Proverbs 29:16declares, “When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.” This simply means the earth’s population growth will be equivalent to the impact of global wickedness. More sinners simply multiply the progression of sinful activities. The global population has skyrocketed in the last 120 years. (See graph of population growth since the time of Christ.)
The Bible warns us that the wickedness of man will reach unprecedented levels at the end of this age. A study of history shows that the world has experienced a growth in its wickedness and rebellion against God. Man will reach the pinnacle of his rebellion and wickedness with the reign of the Antichrist and his global kingdom.
The Antichrist has been preceded by a multitude of evil men who have aspired to rule the world. These godless leaders were murderers and liars, like their father, the devil (John 8:44). In their march to power, they ruthlessly persecuted and murdered millions of innocent people. Satan offered these men the same power that he offered Jesus at the beginning of His public ministry. The Bible tells us, “The devil taketh him [Jesus] up into an exceeding high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou will fall down and worship me” (Matthew 4:8-9). The holy Lord Jesus rejected Satan’s offer. However, many tyrants and dictators have accepted Satan’s offer. They sold their souls to the devil for a moment in history. They worshiped Satan and became his puppet to oppose God and advance Satan’s kingdom of darkness on this earth.
God has His eyes upon the nations every day. “God is angry with the wicked every day” (Psalm 7:11). He hates wickedness and has pledged to judge the wicked. The Lord has declared, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay” (Romans 12:19). Long ago, the psalmist expressed God’s heart, when he cried out, “Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end” (Psalm 7:9). That day will come when the Lord judges the Antichrist and his armies at Armageddon. On that day “the wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the n ations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17).
The final day of the Tribulation will be filled with the holy vengeance of the Lord. Isaiah wrote about this day when he said, “For it is the day of the LORD’s vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion” (Isaiah 34:8). The last day of the Tribulation Period, and the days leading up to it, have been predetermined by the Holy One of Israel in eternity past. The eternal God, Who lives in the eternal present, sees all the past, present, and future events at the same time. Man was created as a finite creature who sees everything in relationship to earth time (Genesis 1:14-19). Man sees events in the slow motion of consecutive linear events that occur in minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years. God has chosen to reveal to us the events of the closing of the Tribulation in earth time. He has done this to wow us with His sovereign power and holy character.
This explains why the final events of the Tribulation have not been revealed in the Scriptures in one location. The closing events of the Tribulation are peppered throughout the holy Scriptures as God revealed it to His prophets and apostles over 15 centuries.
The time leading to the last day of the Tribulation of seven years will be filled with the judgments of God’s vengeance upon the Antichrist and his evil kingdom. These judgments are revealed in Revelation 16.

In the months leading to the last day of the Tribulation, the Lord will begin to pour out His wrath from heaven upon the Antichrist and his kingdom. Those who have worshipped the Antichrist and have taken his mark, 666, will be plagued with painful ulcers (verse 2). They will live in a world where the oceans, rivers, and streams will be totally contaminated and will reek with stench (verses 3-7). The global climate will become dangerously hot (verse 8-9), filled with total darkness (verse 10). It will become unbearably painful and with intense suffering (verse 11).
During this time of great suffering, a demonic message accompanied by deceptive miracles coming from the Antichrist and his False Prophet, will deceive the nations (Revelation 16:13-14). The world’s response will be to blame the Jews for all the judgments of God previously mentioned. Therefore, men of war will be called to assemble in the Valley of Armageddon in northern Israel. They will be commanded by the Antichrist to annihilate the Jews. From this valley in northern Israel, they will be dispatched to two major locations [Petra and Jerusalem] to engage the Jewish people in a war of annihilation.
The Bible tells us that the gathering of the armies of the Antichrist will be the work of God (Joel 3:9-14). God says, “I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the Valley of Jehoshaphat [located between the Mount of Olives and the Temple Mount], and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land” (Joel 3:2).
Revelation 16:12-16 tells us that the fallen angels, demons, will lure the kings of the earth to follow the lead of the Antichrist to defeat the Jews in Israel and to forcefully take Jerusalem and the Holy Land away from the regathered modern nation of Israel.
The Bible teaches that the human governments of this world are directly involved with unseen spirits, both good and evil, in the angelic world. These angels are at war with one another over the control of the affairs of this world. This war will escalate into a final conflict at the mid-point of the Tribulation. Revelation 12:7states “And there was war in heaven: Michael [the archangel] and his angels fought against the dragon [Satan]; and the dragon fought and his angels [demons].” The context of Revelation 12demands that this angelic war is focused on the security and survival of the nation of Israel.
A study of the book of Daniel teaches that Satan has assigned some of his powerful demons to engage in war with God over the control of various nations. In Daniel 10, this great prophet of God was receiving revelations from God concerning the Jewish people in the last days (Daniel 10:14). For three weeks, Daniel sought the face of Godwhile mourning and fasting (Daniel 10:2-3). At the end of these three weeks, an angel of God came to speak with Daniel. He told Daniel that God had sent him at the beginning of the three weeks that he was fasting. However, the evil spirit [demon] ruling over Persia [Iran] was at war with him and Michael the chief prince angel of God, to hinder his meeting with Daniel. Before he left Daniel, this angel told Daniel that he and Michael would return to the battle in the angelic realms with the fallen angels of Persia and Greece. This fascinating Scripture gives us great insight into the ongoing war of the good and evil angels as they fight over the existence of the nation of Israel.
God gave Daniel the understanding that the most powerful angel under God’s control was Michael (Daniel 10:13, 21). Near the end of Daniel’s life, God informed this great prophet that Michael was the great prince of heaven that was assigned to defend the nation of Israel in the wars of the heavenly realm (Daniel 12:1). The fact that God chose and empowered His most powerful angel, Michael, to defend Israel is a testimony to just how significant this war is in the eternal plans of God! We are witnessing this in Israel’s war with Iran at this current hour.
In history’s past, God hardened the hearts of Pharaoh and the entire nation of Egypt (Exodus 14:4, 8, 17). He turned them against Israel and used this to bring about their demise because they opposed God’s people, and His eternal plans. Years later, Joshua was told that God did the same thing to the kings and people of the land of Canaan who opposed Israel in their conquest of the Promised Land. Joshua wrote, “For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favor, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses” (Joshua 11:20).
In our world today, it is obvious that the hearts of the kings of the earth and their people are being hardened by God so they will move against Israel to destroy them at Armageddon. We are witnessing demonic control over Iran and other evil nations sworn to the destruction of Israel. The raging war in the heavenly realms is depicted by the evil plotting to destroy Israel. The devil and his demons are fueling a war of hatred against the Jewish people. The old scourge of anti-Semitism is again spreading across the globe like wildfire. This is a fulfillment of Psalm 2.
The hatred toward Israel and the world’s refusal to allow the Jewish people to occupy all their land given to them by God is escalating at this very hour. In recent weeks European nations and the United Nations have demanded Israel to allow another terrorist state called Palestine to be recognized. The people who would occupy this Palestinian State are sworn to the destruction of the modern State of Israel. Recent surveys show that 87 percent of the Palestinian people favor Hamas and want these fanatical murderers and rapists to rule over them and their country. Most people who call themselves Palestinians support the total destruction of Israel. This cry for the destruction of Israel is rooted in the religious dogmas of Islam. This is a holy war for a holy land.
The world does not recognize or know what God has said in the context of these last days, “For I will take you [the Jewish people] from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land” (Ezekiel 36:24). This hatred for Israel and their occupation of their land will continue to escalate, finally leading to Armageddon. The world is clearly at war with God! The wicked nations’ march to Armageddon has begun. It is a matter of time! It will finally take place a few weeks or months before the end of the Tribulation Period.
The future battle of Armageddon will take occur over several days. The armies will engage in a war with the Israelis in Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:1-14:2) and a small remnant of believing Jews who have been hiding in the rugged mountainous terrain of Jordan at Petra for three and one-half years (Matthew 24:15-20; Revelation 12:13-17).
As previously mentioned, there are a multitude of Scriptures that speak of the final days of the Tribulation and the battle of Armageddon. All of creation will obey its Master in His quest to unleash His terrifying vengeance upon the kings and nations of the earth. It will include a massive geological holocaust that will involve global earthquakes, gigantic volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis, especially in the theater of the battle of Armageddon in Israel and southern Jordan (Psalm 18:7-13; Revelation 14:14-20; 16:18-20). It will also include a mighty shaking of the heavens (Isaiah 34:4; Matthew 24:29-30; Luke 21:25-28). This final day of the Tribulation will also be accompanied by the most powerful electrical storm in the history of planet earth (Psalm 18:9-15; Revelation 16:18, 21). This storm will feature hailstones that will weigh approximately 100 pounds (Revelation 16:21). These dramatic and deadly events will dwarf anything previous generations have ever experienced.
On the final day of the battle of Armageddon, the armies of the Antichrist will be fighting in total darkness (Revelation 16:10-11). Then, suddenly, bursting forth in the darkness, will be the blinding light of the glory of God (Isaiah 30:26; Zechariah 14:6-7; Matthew 24:27, 29-30).
The armies of the Antichrist gathered in Israel will be struck with a holy terror. They will desperately and foolishly point their weapons toward the descending King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. This holy King has come to execute judgment and war (Revelation 19:11) upon the final wicked kingdom of man. John wrote, “And I saw the beast [Antichrist], and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army” (Revelation 19:19). How blind and foolish to think that an army of human beings could stand against the sovereign, infinite, awesome Almighty God! Satan and his Antichrist and False Prophet will have deceived them and lured them into the trap of their own death.
First, the Lord will dispose of the Antichrist and the False Prophet. The Bible declares that the Antichrist will be consumed “with the spirit of [the LORD’s] mouth, and shall be destroyed with the brightness of his coming” (2 Thessalonians 2:8). Suddenly, the Lord will take the Antichrist and False Prophet and supernaturally “cast [them] alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone” (Revelation 19:20). It is fitting that these two hellish monsters will be the first ones to be cast into the Lake of Fire, the final place of punishment for the devil, all demons, and all the sinners of all ages (Revelation 20:10,15). In the Lake of Fire, they shall all “be tormented day and night forever and ever” (Revelation 20:10).
Immediately following the demise of the Antichrist and False Prophet, the Lord will slay all the kings and armies of the Antichrist (Revelation 19:21). Jesus will simply speak (Revelation 19:21), and they will all instantly die a horrific death. King David wrote 2,800 years ago, He “shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries” (Psalm 110:5-6; also see Isaiah 34:2-3).
Some of the armies will be killed on the mountains of Israel and the birds will eat their flesh (Revelation 19:17-18, 21). Their blood will also be spattered upon the garments of the King of Kings (Isaiah 63:1-6; Revelation 19:13). Others in this army will be consumed by the fiery blood of the earth that will flow from volcanoes that will erupt in northern Israel on the Golan Heights and flow for almost two hundred miles down the Jordan Valley on its way to the Red Sea (Revelation 14:14-20). See the map on this page. Their sudden death is described in Psalm 68:2 and Zechariah 14:12, 15. They will be consumed by the volcanic magma that will instantly consume everything and everyone in its path (Psalm 18:7-8; Nahum 1:5-6; Micah 1:3-6). The Jordan Valley is the major traveling corridor that people have used to go from Galilee and the Valley of Armageddon to Jerusalem since the days of the Old Testament. It will be the forces of the Antichrist in this area that will meet their sudden horrific death.
Israel’s war against the Arab/Islamic nations of the Middle East has been prerecorded in the eternal Word of God. For example, read Ezekiel 35-36. The current global support for the enemies of Israel to give the Promised Land to these enemies is the precursor to the coming Antichrist and his evil global kingdom. As the current momentum to force Israel to surrender their land to the Palestinians continues, we will witness the escalation of the wrath of God upon all nations. It has already begun.
The prophet Jeremiah wrote about the difficult days that lie ahead for the nation of Israel during the last half of the Tribulation (Jeremiah 30:1-11). As Israel’s pain increases, the pain of the nations will increase. Jeremiah closed this great chapter with the following words that seem to be very appropriate for our current times, “Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it” (Jeremiah 30:23-24).
Long ago, godly King David was directed by the Holy Spirit to express the longing of our Holy God when he wrote, “O let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end” (Psalm 7:9). The wickedness of man and its evil kings and governments has just about run its course. On the final day of the Tribulation, the final war on earth will be finished. The last ruling evil tyrant will be eliminated. The final army of the nations will have fought its final battle. Good will overcome evil. Righteousness will defeat wickedness. The devil will be banished to the bottomless pit (Revelation 20:1-3).
The promises of the coming Messiah and King of Kings will be fulfilled. At last, the surviving godly remnant of people of the nations will have a righteous king and a godly kingdom for 1,000 years.

“Operation Rising Lion”
Israel is finally delivering a devastating blow to the nuclear Iranian threat. For decades, Israel has listened to the belligerent calls for their destruction coming from the radical Islamic regime in Iran. During this same time, Iran planted radical terrorist proxy elements along Israel’s northern and southern borders. Hamas and Hezbollah, and other smaller Islamic groups, were trained and funded by Iran. Their goal was to bring about the annihilation of Israel. Their dream was illustrated in the barbaric Hamas invasion of Israel on October 7, 2023.
In the early hours of June 13, Israel began “Operation Rising Lion.” The Israeli attacks on Iran are ongoing as we speak. This operation has been meticulously and brilliantly planned by the Israelis for months. All levels of the Israeli intelligence agencies and the military worked with government leaders to masterfully plan for attacking Iran. As the early stages of this plan were carried out, we were amazed at the precision and success of this operation.
Israel has announced that this operation against Iran will continue until they accomplish their agenda. The IDF delivered a major blow to Iran’s military program. Nuclear facilities have been obliterated, military leaders eliminated, many key nuclear scientists assassinated, and other significant Iranian military sites destroyed. The elimination of Iran’s military infrastructure in Teheran has not been easy. Iran embedded its military in the civilian areas of the city’s population of 10 million people, putting them all in harms way.
Iran continues to demonstrate it will not surrender to demands calling for the complete elimination of their nuclear ambitions. The elimination of Iran’s nuclear threat will dramatically alter the balance of power in the Middle East. For decades, the radical Shiite policies of Iran have posed a threat to the Sunni Muslims in the Persian Gulf region. The defeat of Iran will have an impact upon the Sunni Muslims. It is believed that this will ultimately cause more Sunni states to join the Abraham Accords, aligning with those who are recognizing the Jewish state of Israel. This is moving the Middle East closer to the false covenant of the Antichrist.
Iran’s allies, including Russia, Turkey, and China, are verbally expressing their opposition to Israel’s attack of Iran. This is paving the way for the evil coalition that will invade Israel in the coming Ezekiel 38war of Gog and Magog. It is apparent that the Ezekiel 38 war is on the immediate horizon. The chronology of the biblical end-time events seems to indicate that this invasion of Israel will take place immediately before or after the Rapture of the church. The prophetic Word of God gives us great insight into what is about to happen in Iran. It is apparent that an ancient prophecy in Jeremiah 49:34-39 is about to be fulfilled. This prophecy is about Elam, the ancient name for Iran. According to this prophecy, in the last days God “will break the bow [missiles] of Elam, and the chief [political leader] of their might” (verse 35). Furthermore, the prophecy continues to declare that something will take place in Iran that will cause Iran’s people to be internationally dispersed (verse 36). Then, Iran will be shamed by their enemies and God will “bring evil upon them” (verse 37).
It seems that this prophecy is about to be fulfilled. Could it be that Iran is about to suffer nuclear contamination due to the destruction of their nuclear facilities? This contamination would demand their expulsion from Iran. This would be followed by an evil Iranian remnant that would be joined by Russia and Turkey in the future Ezekiel 38 invasion of Israel. In Jeremiah 49:37, God promised “I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger [see Ezekiel 38:18-19], … and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them [at Gog and Magog].” Eventually, the godly remnant of Iran will return to their nation to serve the Lord in His Millennial Kingdom [verses 38-39].
Friends, the events unfolding in this war between Israel and Iran is forging the coalition of the Ezekiel 38 war. It is preparing the Sunni Muslim power base that will produce the Antichrist and set the stage for his headquarters in the Middle East.
The fireworks that will lead to the Tribulation are taking place right before our eyes!
