America – at War with God

America is at war! This is not war with an evil nation. This is a spiritual war that is being waged on American soil. If we look at America today through the lens of the Bible, it is clear that our beloved nation is at war with God. And, this war is aimed at destroying the foundation of America – our founding documents. These documents – the Declaration of Independence, our constitution and the Bill of Rights – are anchored in the truth that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.” It has been this biblical truth that has provided a sure foundation for the United States of America for more than two centuries.

The freedoms and respect that Christians have enjoyed in America are built upon this very foundation. However, now we have a people and a government that are openly calling for the destruction of these founding documents. These people hate America and all that is good. At the center of their target of hate are the church and Christians. In essence, this effort is a war against God and the eternal Word of God. If these enemies of America are successful in their efforts, it will radically alter the life of the church and true believers in Jesus Christ. Friends, I am convinced we are about to witness a dangerous backlash of hate and persecution that has not existed on the shores of this nation in its entire history.

What must we do? What can we do? Where can we go? How are we to respond? These are questions that many of us are beginning to ask. In recent days, as I have thought about these questions, I have been directed by the Holy Spirit to Psalms 9-14. I encourage you to read and study these Psalms and let the Holy Spirit give you godly wisdom for living in these days. The parallels of the historical background of these psalms and our day are amazing!

These six psalms were written by King David when he was the public enemy of some of his own people in the nation of Israel. The pursuit of David to kill him was directed by wicked King Saul. King Saul wanted to kill David because he considered him to be a threat to his rule over the people of Israel.

David’s response was to run and hide from King Saul. He wrote, “In the LORD put I my trust: how say you to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may [secretly] shoot at the upright in heart” (Psalm 11:1-2).

Christians in America have become the enemy of the liberal left. Today, the American left is aligned with the Democrat Party. They have many voices in our current government and they are engaged in a war against Christianity. They view the commitment of Christ’s followers to the moral values of the Bible as being narrow minded, bigoted, and stupid. We are a threat to their sexual freedom, lawlessness, and power. At the foundation of their flawed view of life and truth is a blasphemous view of the character of God. Many of these people are atheists. The result is that these people think and live like fools. That is why David wrote, “The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God” (Psalm 14:1). The Hebrew word “fool” does not speak of an intellectual foolishness, but of a moral insanity. This word speaks of a person who lacks moral understanding. This is a person who is a rebel and is disobedient to the law of God. In Psalm 14, David gives two evidences of their foolish opposition to God. They are morally “corrupt” and “are all together become filthy” (Psalm 14:1, 3) Furthermore, their rebellion against God is revealed in their attack upon His people. They are people “who eat up my people as they eat bread” (Psalm 14:4).

Many left-wing Americans believe it is time to silence the voice of Christianity. They are blind to all of the positive influences that Christianity has had in America since its founding. Shockingly, they embrace the godless political philosophies of Communism and the violent jihadist practices of Islam. Both of these political systems greatly restrict personal freedoms and create a society of slaves. These two systems are also responsible for murdering millions of people who rejected their control. The blindness to these facts demonstrates just how deceived the followers of the political left are.

The motivating element behind all of this is hate. Hard core socialists and Muslims hate Christians and call for their death. Look at the current examples in our world. China has declared war on Christians. Since the beginning of communism in China, millions of Christians have been tortured, imprisoned, and martyred for the cause of Christ. Last year 340,000 Christians were persecuted in our world. Most of the extreme persecution has come at the hands of Muslim countries, including Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, Iran, Nigeria, Iraq, and Syria. “Every day around the world 13 Christians are killed for their faith; 12 are illegally arrested or imprisoned, 5 are abducted; and 12 churches or other Christian buildings are attacked (Raymond Ibrahim, www.gatestoneinstitute.org, January 17, 2021).

Just like David’s time, this is all happening while the foundations of society are crumbling. David wrote, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3) The Hebrew word for “foundations” speaks of “the settled order of things.” The foundation of society is the biblical application of law and order, and justice and truth. When these are redefined in a culture of wickedness, it destroys the very foundation of truth, which the righteous use to rescue those perishing in their sin. The sad truth is that we are living in a culture where most people have been given up by God (Romans 1:18-32). In our godless American culture, the people have a blasphemous distorted image of God. They look with disdain upon the Christian community. And, they have no respect for the Word of God. When believers live in a godless culture like this, “what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3).

The answer is – we take refuge in God. At times, we might feel like David and want to run away and hide. However, the real answer is found in having peace of mind as we take refuge in our Lord. “The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble” (Psalm 9:9).

As we watch the foundations of America collapse around us, we need to take refuge in the person and promises of God. Read Psalm 91.

1. God is the final judge.

As we see all of the injustice, hatred, and oppression of the righteous, we need to remember that the righteous Judge is coming. David thought about this when he wrote, “But the LORD shall endure for ever; he hath prepared his throne for judgment. And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness” (Psalm 9:7-8). Here, David looked forward to the coming earthly kingdom of God. Then, God’s Messiah – the Lord Jesus – will be judge over all the earth. Finally, justice will prevail. He has declared, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay” (Romans 12:19). When earth’s history is complete, all of the wicked will have their day in God’s courtroom. God will open His books, and they will all be judged “according to their works” (Revelation 20:12, 13). The Lord has declared, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17).

2. God’s retribution upon the wicked

The nations are plotting to overthrow God (Psalm 2:1-3). However, the Lord has planned a period of time when He will pour out His wrath upon the wicked nations. In their foolishness they have dug their own graves. Speaking of the Tribulation Period, David said, “The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken. The LORD is known by the judgment which he [executes]: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands” (Psalm 9:15-16). The nature of God’s retribution against the wicked nations that rebel against Him is clearly stated, “Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire, and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup” (Psalm 11:6). The fury and wrath of God that will be poured out from the holy Lord in heaven during the Tribulation is too much for the human mind to fathom.

I think about this very often. God has given me the assignment to proclaim the truth of the horrific judgments of God in the future. He wants me to warn all who will listen of the approaching wrath of God. I know this is not what people want to think about. There is a certain sense in which the human mind does not want to entertain the graphic details of the deadly and destructive judgments of this unique period of time. I can only image what Noah must have experienced. For 120 years he told his neighbors, and anyone else who would listen, that God was going to send a massive flood and kill everyone that was not on the giant boat he was instructed to build. The people must have mused, “What kind of God would do that?” For them, it was too harsh and unbelievable. After all, times were good. “They were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark” (Matthew 24:38).

3. God will give the nations the leader they deserve

The Bible tells us that God is the One who removes kings and puts them in positions of authority (Daniel 2:21). There has never been a ruler over a nation that has not been put there by Almighty God. This includes some of the most vile, wicked, and murderous leaders of the past, present, and future. We cannot begin to understand this. But, that does not matter. Like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, each one of the leaders of the world has been put in place by the ruler of the creation. God is orchestrating the events and governments of this planet to its final conclusion as determined by Him.

In some cases, God gives a nation the ruler they deserve. That will be the case when the end of this age approaches. The Bible tells us that the people of the world will reject the God of the Bible and clamor for a ruler that will set them free from the binding moral laws of God (Psalm 2:1-3). These people refuse to believe God’s truth, but thrive on lies and deception (2 Thessalonians 2:10). As a result, God will “send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie” (2 Thessalonians 2:11). These spiritually blind people are in love with themselves and their sinful pleasures (2 Thessalonians 2:12). Therefore, they seek to have a government that will be lawless. Above everything else, they seek sexual freedom. They want to tear down the foundations of human dignity of the image of God, the sanctity of marriage, and the God ordained and created standard of individual gender. The rejection of these sovereign foundations of God’s creation of mankind is an offense to our holy God.

Their ultimate dream will be fulfilled in the coming of the Antichrist. He will be everything they have wanted because he is just like them – godless, lawless, deceptive, immoral, blasphemous, and filled with violence and destruction. The late John Phillips, a former professor at Moody Bible Institute and Bible conference speaker, in his excellent commentary on Psalms, states, “In Psalms 9 and 10, David looks at the end times. Seven times in these two psalms he makes reference to “the lawless one” (9:5, 16; 10:2, 3, 4, 13, 15), the same as described by Daniel and by Paul – the man of sin, the beast, the devil’s messiah” (John Phillips, Exploring the Psalms, Vol. 1, p. 71).

As one reads these psalms and looks at our day, it is no question that our world is inviting the Antichrist to come and rule over them.

In Psalm 10 John Phillips finds 26 things about the character and career of the Antichrist. Verse 2 states that “in his pride [he will] persecute the poor.” He will bless those who have a “covetous” spirit (verse 3). The Hebrew word for covetous speaks of appropriating people’s property by violence and injustice. Clearly, this speaks of the aims of socialism and communism. A growing segment of our government is promoting this covetous spirit at this very moment [See page 7.] While calling themselves “progressives” these socialists are masquerading as those who care for the poor. The histories of both socialism and Islam prove that the leaders of these philosophies do not care about the poor, but rob people of their possessions to make themselves rich.

In these Psalms, we are reminded that the Antichrist will be filled with a boastful pride (Psalm 10:2, 3, 4). He will have no respect for man or God. He hates the poor and plots their destruction (Psalm 10:8-10). He defies God in every way imaginable. Psalm 10:4, 6 says, “The wicked [one] through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God, God is not in all his thoughts. … He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.”

Furthermore, in his defiance against God, “His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity” (Psalm 10:7). Hundreds of years later, the prophet Daniel wrote about the Antichrist, “And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak [monstrous] things against the God of gods” (Daniel 11:36). Today, we see a defiant arrogance in the liberal left establishment. If you do not agree with them, then they demonize you and all that you stand for. In their mind, there is no room for those who disagree with them. Instead, they have created the so-called Cancel Culture, plotting our demise to remove us from society. This is the very nature, and character of the coming Antichrist and his global administration.

The psalmist reminds us that the lawless one, the Anti-christ, will act like his father the devil, who is a destroyer (Revelation 9:11). He will wreak havoc upon the civi-lized world, bringing about destruction of cities across the globe (Psalm 9:6). Compare this with Isaiah 14:16, 17 and Daniel 7:23. As we watch the riots across America destroy parts of our cities, we are simply witnessing a warning to what is coming. While this was happening, the liberal establishment in Washington did little more than make excuses for these lawless rebels who are clamoring for more lawless permissiveness. Their goal is to bring our nation to ruin.

A dark cloud of rebellion against all that is good and lawful is moving across the political landscape of America. Those who have bought into the deception of our day are tearing down the statues and images of public figures that we held in high esteem only a few decades ago, including the statue of our first president, George Washington.

What has happened? How has this come to pass? For decades, our culture has bought into the deception and lies about America. The plotters of our demise have been sowing lies about the history of America. They are using identity politics to enrage a segment of the American society. They are using lies about race, marriage, our sexuality, and the God-ordained roles of parents to create the idea that American society is oppressive. They are calling for a revolution to be set free from what they view as restrictive laws that have been a part of the biblical foundation that has allowed God to bless America for more than 200 years. These laws are not just a part of an American tradition. They are more than that. They are laws that are supported and promoted by the eternal and changeless Word of God. These foolish revolutionists may not know it, but they are at war with God. The real problem in America is the wickedness of the human heart. Only Jesus Christ can set them free from the slavery of sin (John 8:34, 36).

Finally, Psalm 9:5, 6 speaks of the end of the Antichrist. He will be destroyed by the Lord (Psalm 9:6). Centuries later, the Apostle Paul would proclaim that the Lord will consume the wicked one “with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming” (2 Thessalonians 2:8). With the blinding light of His glorious appearance at His revelation, Christ will simply speak the word and the Antichrist and his armies will drop dead on the mountains of Israel (Revelation 19:15-21).

With the defeat of the Antichrist and his one-world government, the reign of terror, death, and war that have marched across the face of the earth will once and forever disappear. The righteous King of Kings and Lord of Lords will establish His kingdom of truth, justice, peace, and prosperity across the globe. The psalmist declared, “O thou enemy, destruction are come to a perpetual end … But the LORD shall endure for ever: He hath prepared his throne for judgment. And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness” (Psalm 9:6-8). No wonder Jesus taught us to pray, “Thy kingdom come” (Matthew 6:10).

America’s war with God is part of a satanic plot to unite the world against God for the final conflict between heaven and hell during the 7-year Tribulation Period. When the end comes, Satan will have successfully deceived all nations to join his rebellion. In Revelation 13, Satan is pictured as a dragon who gives power to the beastly leader of the world, the Antichrist. Revelation 13:6-7 declares that the Antichrist will open “his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”

God is not surprised by the global opposition against Him. He is in full control and is allowing the Antichrist and all of the wicked to be “snared in the work of [their] own hands” (Psalm 9:16). Like Haman in the book of Esther, they are building their own gallows to hang themselves. When the time has come, the Lord will speak to the Antichrist and command him to “come” (Revelation 6:1). Seven years later, the Lord will gather all nations to Israel for their defeat by the sword of the Lord at Armageddon (Zechariah 14:2-3). Sadly, America is being deceived to turn away from the Lord. Our beloved nation will join hands with the wicked forces of hell that will be destroyed at Armageddon.

As American believers in Jesus Christ, it is very painful for us to watch all of this develop. If the coming of our Lord is not soon, then we will join many of our brethren around the world to face the daily persecution and hardships of those who are living in a culture that is at war with God. Modern Americans have had it easy for all of their lives. We have lived in a nation that has provided us with freedom, substance for living, and security. We have enjoyed freedom of religion and freedom of speech. All of this is about to radically change.

As we endure the hardships that are coming, we must remember that our Lord has promised us, “In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). The Bible declares, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall [grow] worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:12, 13). We can take great comfort that those who suffer persecution and those who escape persecution are both in His sovereign hands. During the time of great persecution of the Christians in the first century, the Apostle Peter proclaimed, “The Lord [knows] how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished” (2 Peter 2:9). Shortly after Peter wrote these words, he was hung on a cross upside down to die for his Lord.

We have lived in a nation that has provided us with freedom, substance for living, and security. We have enjoyed freedom of religion and freedom of speech. All of this is about to radically change.

Brethren, as American believers, we need to cry out to the Lord for Jesus to come. If in His sovereign will He does not come soon, the American church has some very difficult days ahead. It will be the greatest and most severe test that the believers in America have ever faced. We must prepare for this time by anchoring our souls in the Word of God. We have not been saved so He can bless us. We have been saved so we can bless Him in life and death. Our highest goal should be to glorify our Lord.

Our Lord has warned us that this day would come when the world would hate us. To a degree, American Christians have been somewhat insulated from this hatred because of our biblical foundation and freedom. But now, the time has come when we are about to experience what Jesus said to His disciples in John 15:18-25. Jesus warned us that because we represent Him and are becom-ing like Him, the world would hate us. Like our Lord, they do not need a reason to hate us. As Jesus said, “They hated me without a cause” (John 15:25). Furthermore, if they hate us, Jesus said they will also persecute us (John 15:20).

This is a real threat to the American church. Many pastors and believers in the American church have already made many doctrinal compromises to please and appease the world. If you or your church have made any compromises of God’s truth, then beware. Only those who are firmly anchored in the Word of God and are deeply committed to Jesus Christ at any cost will pass the test that is coming. It has been relatively easy to call yourself a Christian in America. That is about to change. If Jesus does not come soon, we will all pay a great price to belong to Jesus and the household of faith.

Many of us have been praying for a revival in America. It very well may be that the Lord will use the approaching persecution and hardships in America to bring about that revival. The purest form of Christianity and dedication of believers to their Lord is found today in the countries where Christians are being persecuted and killed for their Lord. In these countries, believers risk their lives to attend church. They treasure the Word of God. They faithfully witness to unbelievers, knowing that it may cost them their lives. This kind of faith is rare in America.

Whether we face persecutions, or are soon taken in the rapture, that is God’s sovereign choice. It is time to fall our faces before God and to seek His presence and power in our lives. At this time of great spiritual darkness, we can best glorify our Lord by letting the light of our testimony shine brightly for Him. Read 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11.

The following words by the apostle Paul seem to be so applicable for today, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the [armor] of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in [partying] and drunkenness, not in [sexual promiscuity] and [immorality], not in strife and envying. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof” (Romans 13:11-14)

Socialism is Growing in America

Statistical data indicates that socialism is becoming more popular in America. It is being deceptively promoted by the media, Hollywood, educators, and many voices within the political establishment in America. An article by Michael Haverluck in One News Now, states, “According to a report conducted by the Heartland Institute and StoppingSocialism.com, the unprecedented 239 far-left candidates running for House, Senate and state legislative seats and endorsed by socialist organizations defeated their conservative Republican rivals in 266 contests – far exceeding their 40% success rate in 2018, when a much lower number (86) of socialists defeated their challengers.

“The three socialist groups supporting these ultra-progressive Democrats are: 1) the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), whose leading member is self-proclaimed socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), 2) Our Revolution, which supports self-professed socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), and 3) Progressive Democrats of America, which has vowed to transform the Democratic Party to administer its socialist agenda” (Michael Haverluck, One News Now, December 15, 2020).

As we embark on 2021, we must ask: “What is happening at this hour in America and throughout our world?” How a person answers that question depends upon their perspective and worldview. For example, if you are asked about your physical health, your perception and a medical doctor’s point of view may be very different. You may answer the question about your health on the basis of how you feel. However, the doctor will answer that question on the basis of his medical examination and compare his findings with basic medical facts to determine the true condition of your health.

When one considers the condition of America and our world, their conclusions will vary depending upon the knowledge they have of what the Bible says about the world and what is coming in the future. The Bible is the one and only reliable source of present and future realities. In His Word, God has chosen to give us His perspective of the true condition and future of our world. The Bible is an amazing book. In this book, God has given us a glimpse into the future. Some of the prophecies in the Bible have already been fulfilled. And, history demonstrates that God’s Word is impeccably accurate. So, we can say with the same certainty, what the Bible says about the future will come to fruition just as it is written. It is the Word of God. And, God says, “The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand” (Isaiah 14:24).

According to the Bible, our world is marching toward a predictable end as predetermined by our sovereign Lord and Creator. Many believe, and I am one of them, that on the basis of the present conditions in our world that the time is at hand for very dramatic prophetic events to unfold.

As a matter of fact, for 2,000 years our world has been uniquely prepared for the brief end of this age as we know it. Think about it. Our world has experienced thousands of years of history. However, according to the Bible, when the end comes, it will all unfold in a brief period of seven years – known as the Tribulation Period. The war in the spiritual realm between good and evil, and the wars and rumors of wars among the nations of this earth are about to come to a dramatic and final climax.

For many decades I have been sounding the alarm about the coming of a diabolical and ruthless New World Order (NWO). The prophetic Word of God repeatedly declares that when the end comes, the leaders of the world will “take counsel together against the LORD, and against his anointed” (Psalm 2:2). The Bible tells us that this will be a grass-roots movement of the godless people of the world. In this same psalm, the psalmist asked, “Why to the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?” (Psalm 2:1) The word “rage” speaks of open defiance, disorderly conduct, while attempting to overthrow law and order that is promoted by human government. We are now witnessing the fulfillment of this prophecy in Psalm 2. The United States and the nations around the world are experiencing a tsunami of anti-government riots and marches. Even Israel is experiencing major civil unrest, which is unlike anything experienced to this degree in the modern state of Israel.

The nations are finding common ground with a goal to remove God from our modern culture. They want to rid of world of God, His Word, and His people. They are violently opposed to God’s plan for Jesus to rule the world from Jerusalem (Psalm 2:3-6). The wicked of our world want to be free to express their sinful desires. They want to be set free from the basic Biblical foundational principles of our society. They want to erase all of God’s guidelines for marriage, gender, sexual morality, and law and order. For them, freedom is doing whatever they want to do whenever they want to do it. All of this is preparing for the entrance of the one the Bible calls the lawless one – the Antichrist (2 Thessalonians 2:8).

There are two nations that have a significant remnant clinging to the Judeo-Christian values found in the Bible – America and Israel. It is not an accident that those who are planning a global government without God are taking aim at these two nations in an effort to diminish their power and influence. Without question, these two nations are constantly subjected to vicious attacks and rejection within the United Nations. The United Nations is controlled by an alliance of Islamic and Communist nations. And, it is revealing to note that the media, as well as the educational, and political systems of the liberal West are in a mode of appeasement as they support these groups. The appeasement of these governments within the Democrat Party in the U.S. is very troubling. For four years, the Democrats opposed the efforts of President Donald Trump’s administration to strengthen the U.S. This has demonstrated that many of these leftist in our government hate America and are plotting its demise. The evidence of the voter fraud in this past election will expose this agenda. How will America respond? It is my opinion that when the socialist enemies of America are exposed as the ones who orchestrated the deception in this election to impose their will upon the American people, it will bring about a violent revolution within this nation. Or, perhaps all of the fraudulent voter evidence will be conveniently swept under the rug and completely ignored by the liberal judges, complicit media, and all of those who hate President Trump and America.

One of the major developments of the last days is the proliferation of antichrists who will prepare the way for the Antichrist. Near the end of the first century, the Holy Spirit caused the Apostle John to write, “Little children, it is the last time; and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time” (1 John 2:18). Our world is filled with godless, evil tyrants who are antichrists, and some of them have been and are currently involved in American government.

It is not a secret that the socialists and the communist dictators of the world are atheists. They promote a utopian kind of society in which they make themselves god and force the people over whom they rule to be their slaves. Like Satan, they make many deceptive and empty promises, while down deep inside, they know they are speaking a lie. Jesus exposed the true character of Satan when He said to the fake religious leaders of His day, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44). When Jesus spoke of the lust of Satan, He was speaking about the great desire of Satan – power over God’s kingdom. This has been the age-old scheme of Satan. In Isaiah 14:13, the Lord revealed that Satan wanted to overthrow God’s kingdom in heaven and on earth. Satan boldly declared, “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:14). When Satan spoke of God, using the name “the Most High,” he was revealing the lust of his heart. The title, “the Most High God,” means God is “the possessor of heaven and earth” (Genesis 14:22). Satan wants power over God’s kingdom in heaven and on earth. It is a struggle for political power and religious authority over all of God’s creation.

The prophet Isaiah also spoke of Satan as the one who “weaken[s] the nations” (Isaiah 14:12). History teaches that one of Satan’s chief instruments on earth he uses to accomplish his agenda is the deception and manipulation of human governments for his diabolical purposes. He weakens them by deceiving them to pursue power over the nations to lead them in a defiant rebellion against God. The book of Daniel focuses upon the course of human history by displaying the succession of evil empires that were symbolically depicted as wild animals, having no conscience (Daniel 7). Daniel’s prophecy traces the trail of these godless empires as it leads to the final wicked kingdom of the Antichrist.

At the beginning of Christ’s ministry, Satan tempted Jesus to submit to his authority. He took Jesus “up into an exceeding high mountain, and [showed] him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou [will] fall down and worship me” (Matthew 4:8-9). Jesus did not fall for Satan’s temptation of power and glory within the kingdoms of this world. However, Satan continues to offer this power to desperate men who want that kind of glory. As a result, they have become pawns in his hands in the great rebellion against the Lord.

In their evil rebellion against God, these governments always expose their malicious character by hating God’s Biblical commandments and order (Psalm 2:3). They also always hate Christ’s disciples (Daniel 8:25; John 15:18-23), and the Jewish people (Jeremiah 30:3-7; Daniel 12:1). As you consider this, think about where the far left in the U.S. stands on these matters? What are they saying about the Bible, Christians, the church, and Israel? This will tell you whose side they are on!!

Godly civil leaders, who exercise the authority given to them by God, do not promote themselves to gain selfish power. They want to serve people. When some of Jesus’ disciples exposed their own selfish and sinful desires to have positions of authority in Christ’s coming kingdom, He rebuked them. Listen to what He told them, “Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise [power] over them; and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your [servant]; and whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:25-28). Like a good husband/father in the home, a great leader will not flaunt his power and use it for his own gain. Instead, he will shepherd those under his authority as a servant who cares for them.

I am concerned that we are on the precipice of perilous times in America. It is very clear that this past election was filled with corruption and deception. Evil individuals, both national and foreign, were involved in voter fraud in an attempt to see Democrat Joe Biden elected. The progressives (socialists) were confident during the years of President Barack Obama’s administration that they were successfully moving the U.S. toward a socialist takeover. Their plans were surprisingly thwarted by the election of Donald Trump. From the very beginning of his administration in 2017, the socialist elements in America attempted to remove him from office, or impede him from being successful as the leader of a free, constitutional government of America. When all of their efforts failed, they were determined to remove him through the electoral process, by any and every means available to them. As this newsletter goes to press, President Trump’s legal team is uncovering massive amounts of data that prove that crimes were committed in several states to change the voting in Biden’s favor.

If all of this evidence of voter fraud is received in a court of law, and found to be true, it should be a day of great mourning in America. It is frightening and sad that we have come to this point in the history of America. The fact that many people are not alarmed, or seek to dismiss these claims is more alarming. This simply means that facts and laws do not matter to them. This indicates that we have reached a very dangerous period of lawlessness in America that will lead to great civil strife, or civil war. In the play book of the socialists, this is what they want. They want a revolution to overthrow America. The socialists have been very successful in sowing seeds of discord and hatred for many decades. No one can pretend to know what the exact outcome of all of this will be. For the first time in my life, I fear for the immediate future of the America I love and cherish.

It is very apparent that our world is pregnant with the signs of the birth of the coming New World Order. There is an abundance of evidence that the powerful and rich elite in our world want to use the COVID-19 global pandemic to bring a radical change in our world. While this pandemic presents a real threat to us, it is very apparent that it is being used to create a climate of fear around the world. Leaders who thrive on power are anxious to use this pandemic to force our world to accept their vision of a New World Order. They want to control every facet of our lives and destroy our freedoms.

At the end of January 2021, the World Economic Forum (WEF) will hold its 51^st annual meeting in Davos, Switzelland. This group of liberal, left-wing rich individuals, like George Soros, will meet to formulate what they call “The Great Reset.” These people want us to believe that the COVID pandemic and global climate change, are serious threats to the future of our world. Therefore, they believe there needs to be a one-world government to oversee and direct the radical changes that need to be imposed upon all the nations to deal with these kinds of dangers. They believe the nations must move away from nationalism and embrace a form of global socialism.

The members of WEF believe that we need to have a radical reset that will reboot the world’s foundational economic and social systems. They promote a government that will bring about income equality, gender equality, and health equality. In order for this to take place, all nations must submit to the one-world government and all of their agencies that will oversee the consumption, production, and management of all wealth and natural resources. In essence, they will promote taking the wealth from the more wealthy nations and giving it to the nations living in poverty. As the richest nation of earth, America is their number one target!

In order to make this happen, the WEF seeks to transition the world into the age of “the Fourth Industrial Revolution.” This will force all global participants to transition into a world that will employ the newest technologies in the digital, biological, and physical world. In other words, we must accept the latest trends that rely upon super-computers, including artificial intelligence robots. This is the perfect setting for the Antichrist’s global government that will seek to control every person on the planet.

A major part of their strategy is to promote a radical and unscientific view of the threat of global climate change. In just 10 years, they hope to move the world away from the use of fossil fuels – oil and coal. The current vehicle of compliance to accomplish this goal is the Paris Climate Accord. This is an attempt to get nations to begin to move away from fossil fuels and replace them with cleaner forms of energy – solar and wind. An examination of the compliance of the nations who have consented to this agreement, indicate that they are not serious about submitting to this plan, especially China and India. President Trump removed the U.S. from this agreement because he realized that it was being used to bring about the demise of the U.S. economy. However, under the Trump administration, the U.S. has made more progress in dealing with the climate change pollutants than other countries remaining in the Paris Climate Treaty. Stephen Moore, a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation, comments, “The one country making substantial progress in reducing carbon emissions is the U.S. under President Donald Trump. Even though our domestic product is way up over the past four years, our carbon dioxide emissions are DOWN. Our air pollution levels and emissions of lead, carbon monoxide and other pollutants are at record-low levels” (Stephen Moore, www.gopusa.com, November 24, 2020).

Everyone knows that President Trump’s main focus for four years has been to “Make America Great.” He has restored a major wave of patriotism across America. He has openly and repeatedly stated that he is against socialism and a one-world government. In complete opposition to Trump’s agenda, the Democrats and Joe Biden are great supporters of the socialist agenda and NWO. Joe Biden says that one of his highest priorities as president will be to re-enter the Paris Climate Accord.

Is it any wonder that we have seen so much voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election? The entire world, with the exception of Israel, was promoting the election of Joe Biden. China, Russia, Iran, and other enemies of America, were against the re-election of Donald Trump. The radical left in America and around the world wants to get rid of Donald Trump. His presidency was and would be a roadblock to the success of the creation of a NWO, supported by all of the enemies of a free America.

The WEF has stated that it will attempt to force its agenda of a NWO upon the will of the nations. In order to do this, they have declared they will engage the younger generation to aid them in their agenda. They are forming a network of young people under the age of 30 that agree with their mission. They have already enlisted more than 7,000 members in 369 city-based hubs in 171 countries, calling them “the Global Shapers Community.” They hope these youth will help them to address local, regional, and global challenges that will assist the WEF to usher in a NWO.

Why are the NWO insiders recruiting the younger generation (up to age 30) to assist them in forcing their socialist agenda upon the world? They know that many of these youth have been uniquely misinformed and brainwashed by a wicked culture to lead the world into the slavery of a tyrannical one-world government. In his excellent book, The Gathering Storm, Albert Mohler, who is the president of a Southern Baptist Seminary, a prolific writer, and a major voice in American evangelical circles, devoted an entire chapter in his book describing this generation and what makes them unique. While citing several current surveys, Mohler describes them as a generation that is disconnected from God, church, and family. The most important thing in their life is self. They aspire to spiritual and moral relativism. That simply means that spiritual and moral values have no right or wrong answers. It all depends upon how you personally feel about it. Mohler says they have “replaced the sovereignty of God with the sovereignty of self” (p. 128). The Bible has warned us that this would be the core problem in the perilous times of the last days (2 Timothy 3:1-7).

In essence, this generation lacks maturity. They have had very few responsibilities in their childhood and adolescent experiences. Their time has been spent glued to a screen! They have been greatly influenced by social media, smart phones, and technological gadgets. “Their emergence into adulthood has been delayed by higher education, by delay of marriage, by economic instability, and the continued financial support of their parents” (Mohler, p. 129). This means that they do not understand the real matters that bear upon personal or family economics. Therefore, they have acquired an entitlement mentality. This is the perfect foundation for falling prey to the deception of a big government that promises to pay your bills and take care of you.

This generation has been brainwashed by liberal university and college professors who hate God, family, and the Bible. The great majority of these youth openly accept the socialist agenda. Most of them hate the Republican Party and are great fans of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, a radical liberal socialist who has many communist connections and friends.

It is not just a coincidence that this summer the U.S. witnessed unemployed youth rioting and looting in U.S. cities. It has been reported that these rioters were not local youth. It is apparent that someone has paid for their expenses in order for them to participate in these riots across America. Now, we know that all of this is being orchestrated by the far-left. Therefore, it is not a surprise that these same people would also steal the election from Donald Trump.

It is time for us to get on our knees and pray. The Apostle Paul exhorted the church to pray “for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:2-4). Only God can rescue us from the brink of national collapse.

What are we to think about all of this? Should we be troubled or concerned? Are we to remain silent and let come what may? Or, do we engage in the fight for America, by praying and exposing the evil agenda that is threatening America? I direct your attention to a godly servant – the prophet Daniel. When God gave him the vision and understanding of the wicked, blood-thirsty one-world government that would be controlled by the Antichrist, Daniel was deeply troubled.

In Daniel 7:15 he testified, “I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.” The word “grieved” in the original language of the text indicates Daniel was distressed or very anxious about the matter of the Antichrist’s kingdom. The word translated “troubled” could also be translated “terrified,” or “frightened.” So, Daniel was saying that he was emotionally stirred by the vision of the kingdom of the last days. Later, in Daniel 7:28 he said that his thoughts “much troubled [same word as in verse 15] me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.” Several chapters later, God told Daniel what would happen to his people “in the latter days” (Daniel 10:14). This vision troubled Daniel to the point that he fasted for three weeks and was in a deep state of mourning (Daniel 10:2-3). What can we learn from this testimony of Daniel? Remember that Daniel understood the sovereign hand of God in the process of kings and kingdoms (see Daniel 2:21). Daniel had great boldness and confidence while he spent the night in the lions’ den. However, this godly man was deeply moved by the understanding of the wicked NWO of the last days. For me, this is a great example for all of us. We are not to be detached from the world to the point that we do not care about what is taking place. I believe that we too need to be troubled and grieve for what we see taking place in our beloved nation. I must confess that in recent weeks, I have lain awake at night, concerned about what is about to take place in America. I am very concerned for my family and friends for what we are about to face. How should we pray? What should we do? How should we prepare? How can I best glorify my Lord? What can I do for my country?

We know how all of this is going to end. The Lord will eventually be coming to establish His kingdom upon this earth. It will be a time of righteousness. The law of God will rule over the nations. Evil and lawlessness will not be allowed. The King is coming!

However, before that kingdom comes, a great spiritual darkness will cover the earth (Isaiah 60:2). The evil empire of the Antichrist will march across the face of this earth. During the 7-year Tribulation Period, perhaps 85-90 percent of the world’s population will die. Listen to Isaiah 13:9, 11–12, “Behold, the day of the LORD [the Tribulation Period] cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. … And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious [rare] than fine gold…”

The other morning I looked out the back window of my house through the fog and the autumn leaves at an exceptionally beautiful sunrise. I was reminded of Lamentations 3:21-24: “This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul: therefore will I hope in him.”

In the midst of all the trials and disappointments of 2020, we need to focus upon the goodness and mercy of our great God. The leaves on the trees and the governments of men are forever changing and being tossed about. But, our God is like a rock and is forever unmovable and unchanging.

As we move deeper into these last days and all of the uncertainty, don’t take your eyes off Him. Isaiah 26:3 gives us this promise, “Thou [will] keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee: because he [trusts] in thee.”

Lies about Temple Mount Exposed

According to modern Islamic tradition, their founding prophet, Muhammad, ascended to heaven in his infamous “Night Journey” from the oldest mosque on the Jewish Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa. Therefore, according to this tradition, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem has become the third most holy site within the religion of Islam. However, in recent weeks, a Saudi Arabian journalist, Osama Yamani, has exposed the lie that has gripped the Middle East for many decades. According to Yamani, his research indicates that the real location of Muhammad’s night journey was not from Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem, but was from a mosque near Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

This “fake news” about the mosque in Jerusalem has been the battle cry for wars, violence, and bloodshed in the region. So, why did the Muslims promote this lie and advance this theory as a very important part of their faith? When Yamani was asked this question, he said, “The answer lies in the fact that Islam defines itself as a religion that did not enter the world to live in peace with Judaism and Christianity, the religions that preceded it, but as a universal religion that is meant to obliterate them and take over the world. Islam sees itself as ‘Din al-Haqq,’ the true religion, and Judaism and Christianity as ‘Din al Batil,’ the false religions. The Muslims fear that the Jewish people’s return to their land, cities, and the site of their Temple will grant Judaism the status of a vibrant, active and true religion, posing a theological threat to the very existence and raison d’etre of Islam.

“That is the reason that all Jewish activity on the Temple Mount, especially Jewish prayer, infuriates them, and they will do everything, including spreading prevarications and outright lies, to prevent the Jews from returning to the places from which they were exiled almost 2,000 years ago. That is what makes the conflict over Jerusalem the basis of a theological struggle whose source is the Muslim world’s inability to recognize the history and religious rights of non-Muslim believers, all whom are slated to disappear, according to Islam” (Adam Berkowitz, www.israel365news.com, November 16, 2020).

The timing of the exposure of this lie within the Islamic world is very significant. According to an understanding of Biblical prophecy, the covenant of the Antichrist that will inaugurate the beginning of the Tribulation Period will be also attached to the efforts of Israel to rebuild their temple on the Temple Mount. We know that at the middle of the Tribulation, three and one-half years later, the Antichrist will enter the temple and seize it for his purposes as a Muslim global leader (Daniel 9:27; 2 Thessalonians 2:4; Revelation 11:1-2).

As we examine the current movement of Sunni Arab Muslim nations entering into agreements to establish a relationship with Israel, one wonders if all of this is preparing the Islamic world for their recognition of the Temple Mount as being significant to Jewish history, rather than Islamic history. This could explain why the Antichrist would give Israel permission to build their temple on the Temple Mount at the onset of the Tribulation Period. Once again, one more piece of the puzzle for end-time events to unfold is coming into focus.

Get ready for the shout that will take us out.

As we come near the end of a very difficult year, we rejoice with all of you as we celebrate the first coming of the blessed Lord Jesus almost 2,000 years ago. The eternal Son of God became flesh and walked this earth to become God’s sacrificial lamb. He died for our sins.

When Jesus comes again, He will snatch us away to be His bride and we will be removed from the very presence and power of sin. Oh how we long for His blessed coming!
