I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.”

Zechariah 12:9

By Mike Wingfield

As Americans begin this new year, all eyes are on the new president and his administration. As they take charge of the leadership in Washington, it has created a firestorm in America and around the world. The conservative world in the U.S., especially the evangelical community, is rejoicing. That’s because we have a new political leadership that is more in line with our Biblical values than in past decades. However, the previous administration was accepted by a great number of Americans, and the global leadership as well. It was politically, economically, spiritually, and morally liberal and corrupt. It supported the dangerous New World Order agenda, and was forcing America into that mold. The new administration is not promoting a global agenda, but was elected because of a promise to “Make America Great Again.” This conservative and nationalistic approach to government in Washington is out of step with most of the world, and the very vocal liberal socialists in America. Consequently, I personally believe that the great and final battle for America has begun. I am convinced that the battle for America and what transpires, will shape our world for the end-time events that lie ahead. What the true church does and how it reacts will be very significant! Only Jesus Christ can make America great again!

In order to understand the raging battle for the soul of America, we must view our nation and our world from God’s eternal perspective as recorded in the Bible. According to the Bible, when the end of this age comes, all nations, including the United States, will join the forces of the Antichrist in his war against Israel. (Joel 3:2; Zechariah 14:2; Revelation 13:7) So, it is not a matter of if America will be deceived by Satan to join the forces of the Antichrist, it is only a matter of when.

There is a raging war on earth between God and Satan. A very critical part of that battle involves America and Israel. When the end comes, America will abandon Israel, and Israel will, humanly speaking, be isolated and alone within the family of nations. In light of recent events, we are dangerously close to this point at the beginning of 2017. download the .pdf file

The Awesome Return of Christ

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven: … and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Matthew 24:30

By Mike Wingfield

The earth and its inhabitants are moving toward the climax of human history on this little planet nestled in the millions of galaxies of God’s creation. From the dawn of creation, the world has been uniquely prepared by God for the greatest single event in His eternal plan – the Revelation of His eternal Son, Jesus Christ. Nothing in all of human history will ever surpass the awesome and powerful display of the majesty of God when our Lord descends from the heavens in His revelation at the end of the deadly Tribulation Period. It will be an encounter that will surpass all events people on this planet have ever experienced. They will see it, hear it, and feel it!

How tragic that most of Christendom does not believe the book of Revelation is relevant! This shows how out of touch most of Christianity is with God and His divine revelation! The ministry of the church is not about us! The focus is not upon the church as the bride of Christ. The real focus of the New Testament is about Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom of the church. Tragically, most pastors and churches are consumed with church programs and measuring their success in terms of the world. Consequently, they have lost the glory of a ministry that exclusively and passionately worships and serves Jesus!

By God’s eternal design, the last book of His written revelation is named after its opening words: “The Revelation of Jesus Christ.” (Revelation 1:1) The Greek word that is translated “revelation” means “unveiling.” This book pulls back the curtain and shows the final climatic events that will be orchestrated in heaven by Jesus Christ for seven years to prepare the inhabitants of earth to witness the physical unveiling of the holy, awesome, and infinite glory, majesty, and power of God.

Speaking 2,700 years ago through Isaiah, the ancient prophet of Israel, the Holy Spirit gave the following cry of the human spirit that calls for God to come down to man on earth: “Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence. As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence. … For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.” (Isaiah 64:1-2, 4) download the .pdf file

From Anarchy to the Antichrist

But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass, but the end is not by and by .” Luke 21:9

By Mike Wingfield

News reports from around the world quickly illustrate that we are witnessing an increasing restless spirit of lawlessness. Before we examine the evidence of this escalating lawlessness in our world, it is imperative that we understand what lawlessness is, and grasp how destructive it is. Lawlessness is the ultimate and complete rejection of God, His authority, and His revealed law. It abandons all Biblical reasoning and truth. In the Bible, it is equivalent to wickedness. It has no respect for God or man. It rejects the rights and properties of others. It is filled with arrogance, stubbornness, violence, destruction, hatred, immorality, envy, and it is unmerciful. (See Romans 1:28-31.) Lawlessness has no shame or guilt. It is passionate about gratifying self. It has no other authority than self. Therefore, it is reckless, destructive, and deadly. It places self and all others in grave danger. In essence, it ultimately embraces the kingdom of darkness in rebellion against God. download the .pdf file
