A New Middle East Emerges

An examination of the post-war results of Israel’s 12-day war with Iran indicates we are watching the emergence of a new Middle East. For 46 years Iran has destabilized the nations in the Middle East. Iran continued to flex its evil muscles to gain superiority and exert complete control over the nations of the Middle East. Iran wanted to use its position in the region to control the world and prepare the way for their Islamic Messiah and his evil global kingdom. From their perspective, they have not given up on this goal. At some later point, they will join Russia, Turkey, and other Islamic enemies of Israel in the Gog and Magog invasion of Israel mentioned in Ezekiel 38.

Iran and its proxies were defeated by Israel in 20 months since October 7, 2023. Before Hamas’ invasion of Israel, it appeared that Iran and its proxies had the nation of Israel in a death grip that would by all human perspectives eventually lead to the demise of the only Jewish nation in the world. Now that the death grip has been annihilated, not only Israel, but the entire Middle East can breathe a temporary sigh of relief.

About three years ago, Iran signed a defense pact with Russia and China that promised they would help defend Iran against any future aggression. When Israel attacked Iran on June 13, all of Iran’s allies stood by and offered no support. Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria, the Houthis in Yemen, Russia and China did not come to Iran’s aid. In 12 days, with the help of the United States on the last day, Iran and its allies were completely silenced.

This defeat of Iran and its allies is sending political tremors throughout the Middle East and around the world. Israel is emerging as the moral global superpower. In this war on evil, Israel was the only nation that stood up to the Islamic global threat. Furthermore, in the Middle East Israel is viewed as the regional military superpower. The nations of the Middle East have learned that they cannot depend upon the United States as a stable ally that can be trusted. During the Obama and Biden years, the Arab nations of the Persian Gulf felt betrayed by the United States. The U.S. democrat administrations did not attempt to stop Iran’s march toward nuclear weapons. Tragically, they funded Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

There is a current feeling in the Middle East that while the U.S. has a strong and reliable administration, the Middle East needs to create a foundation of security that will outlast the growing concerns of inward division in the U.S. These concerns are fueling an urgent need to expand the Abraham Accords that began in 2020 under the leadership of President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamen Netanyahu.

It is apparent that there will be an immediate call for the expansion of the Abraham Accords. Only days after the Iran war was completed, the sign pictured in this article appear in Tel Aviv.

From a prophetic perspective, it appears we are watching the formation of the 10 kings and their nations (Daniel 7:7, 24; Revelation 17:12-14) that will join the Antichrist in forming the false peace covenant that will begin the Tribulation. If this is correct, we are rapidly moving toward the event that will begin the Tribulation Period. This simply means the Rapture of the true church is imminent!

Get ready for the shout that will take us out!
