Earthquake Hits Major Iranian Nuclear Facility

For the past few years, I have been asking the Lord to demonstrate His power over Iran’s nuclear preparations. I have been claiming the promises that the Lord will protect His people for His glory. I asked Him to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities with an earthquake.

I was elated to hear that God answered my prayers. On Friday morning of March 21, the day before Jews around the world began to celebrate Purim, a major 5.0 earthquake shook Natanz city in the Iranian province of Isfahan. The earthquake shook buildings, but no casualties took place.

The Nuclear Technological Center at Natanz is Iran’s largest nuclear research complex. It employes about 3,000 scientists. Sources in Iran report that there was to damage to the nuclear facility or its operations.

While there were no apparent damages to Iran’s nuclear capabilities, this earthquake and its approximate timing near the historical feast of Purim is of great significance. This ancient feast is a time of celebration for Jews which came about because of the events recorded in the book of Esther. In this book, God displayed His sovereign control over events to protect the Jewish people in the face of a planned annihilation of the Jews. Several evil Persians, called Iranians today, developed a plot to slaughter all the Jews living in Persia. God used a Jewish woman called Esther, to expose the plot, which led to the demise of all the enemies of Israel living in Iran at that time.

Today, an evil Islamic regime in Iran is plotting to use a nuclear bomb to destroy the nation of Israel. For more than three decades, this radical element in Iran has been bragging about the day they will wipe Israel off the map. However, they are enemies of God, targeting God’s chosen people. This earthquake was no doubt a clear reminder to Iran and the entire world that the plans of man cannot and will not succeed when they stand in opposition to the will of God.

According to Ezekiel 38, Iran will join Russia, Turkey, and other radical Islamic nations to attack the modern nation of Israel. When this happens, God will shake the mountains of Israel and destroy this invading force, including the Iranians (Ezekiel 38:18-22). Current events seem to point to the reality that this future attack against Israel is on the immediate horizon.

God is glorifying Himself. Once again, God is demonstrating that He will destroy the enemies of Israel. The Bible repeatedly teaches that the battle belongs to the Lord. God has declared, “Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they will know that I am the LORD” (Ezekiel 38:23).

Is the Ezekiel 38 War Imminent?

Israel votes- “No Palestinian State on the Promised Land”

On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, the Israeli lawmakers at the Knesset in Jerusalem voted by a wide margin (68-9) that they will reject the establishment of a Palestinian State on any part of the land west of the Jordan River.

The new policy statement of the Israeli government is as follows:

“The Israeli Knesset opposes the establishment of a Palestinian state on any piece of land west of the Jordan River,” the resolution reads. “The existence of a Palestinian state in the heart of Israel will pose an existential threat to the State of Israel and its citizens, will further extend the Israel-Palestinian Arab conflict and be a source of destabilization for the entire region.”

“It will be only a matter of time before Hamas takes over such a Palestinian state turning it into a base for radical Islamic terrorism in full alignment with the Iranian regime that aims to eradicate the State of Israel.”

“Supporting Palestinian statehood would reward terrorism and serve to encourage Hamas and its supporters. Israel’s enemies will interpret it as the victorious outcome of the massacre perpetrated on October 7th and a precursor to the conquest of jihadist Islamism of the entire Middle East.”

Obviously, as indicated by the prophetic Scriptures concerning the last days, this will bring the Jewish state of Israel into direct conflict with its Arab neighbors and the entire world. This is a very significant decision that will catapult the entire world into the final conflict with the God of Israel over the Promised Land (Joel 3:2).

French Jews Immigrating to Israel

The security for Jews living in Europe is disintegrating with the explosion of Anti-Semitism and the increased Muslim immigration to Europe, especially in France, Germany, and Great Britain. As a result, tens of thousands of Jews are immigrating to Israel.

“France’s next government will be led by the extreme left, and will necessarily be anti-Israel and pro-Hamas, to please the millions of Muslim voters. The next government in France will not even try to protect French Jews when they are attacked in the suburbs of Paris and Marseille, because if it does, there would be Muslim riots in the streets and many cars would be set on fire” (The Jewish Press, July 9, 2024). The Jewish leadership in France is telling their Jewish congregations there is no future for Jews in France.

This same situation is multiplying around the world, including in Russia and the United States. This is a direct fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

Israel and Hezbollah on Verge of War

A very serious war is about to erupt in the Middle East. Since October 2023, Hezbollah has fired more than 4,000 rockets and missiles into northern Israel. Israelis are being killed and many of the cities on the border with Lebanon are being destroyed by Hezbollah. Hezbollah is a terrorist group, like Hamas, that is trained and funded by Iran. Iran and its proxy terrorist groups are sworn to the destruction of Israel.

In recent weeks the situation on Israel’s northern border has become very tense. Israel has tried to diplomatically deal with this situation by demanding that Hezbollah withdraw from a buffer zone in Southern Lebanon that was created and recognized by the United Nations several years ago. Hezbollah refuses to withdraw and continues to daily attack Israel with missiles. Iran and Hezbollah are threatening Israel that an attack upon their forces in Lebanon will bring about a full-scale war that will threaten the entire Middle East.

Israel has responded by telling Iran and the world that their patience is running out. The Israelis are warning that if a diplomatic solution is not enforced, they will attack Lebanon and drive it “into the stone-age.” Israel is being forced to take drastic action against this imminent threat that has the potential to destroy the modern nation of Israel. The Israeli military is warning the Israeli public that Hezbollah is planning to launch more than 4,000 missiles per day into Israel. If the Israeli military does not act quickly against this threat, it has the potential to kill thousands of Israelis.

It is possible that this war could lead the region into the biblical war of Gog and Magog, mentioned in Ezekiel 38-39. Radical Islamic terrorist from all over the Middle East are volunteering to join Hezbollah in their war against Israel. If Russia and Turkey join Iran in this war, it will become the war mentioned by Ezekiel.

In the last few weeks, most nations have withdrawn their diplomats from Lebanon. Fearing that a war between Israel and Lebanon could turn Lebanon into another Gaza, many Lebanese are leaving the country. In the last week, more than 100,000 have flown out of Beirut. Those who cannot afford to fly out of the country are moving into the northern areas of Lebanon.

On June 30th, Iran threatened to destroy Israel if it attacks its forces in Lebanon. This is an ominous sign that war is imminent!

Friends these signs point to a very deadly war that is about to erupt on Israel’s northern border. Those who love Israel and believe the prophetic Word of God, need to pray for Israel. When you pray for Israel, you are connecting with the heart of God. We know from Scripture that the Lord has promised to protect and bless Israel. This is what His perfect will is for His chosen people. So, when you ask God to defend and protect Israel, you are asking God to do what He wants to do. You are praying, as Jesus said, “Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

If we are watching the developments that are leading to the Gog and Magog war of Ezekiel 38, then we are very close to the Rapture of the church. It is imminent! Be ready for the shout that will take us out!
