In these days of political confusion, God is still on the throne and some people are getting it right. Read the following announcement.
“Louisiana has become the first state to enact a law mandating that the Ten Commandments be prominently displayed at all public schools and colleges.
Under legislation that became law on June 18, Louisiana schools that receive state funds will have to display the Ten Commandments “in each building it uses and classroom in each school under its jurisdiction.”
The bill specifies that the text must be presented at the main focal point of a poster or framed document measuring at least 11 inches by 14 inches and printed in a “large and easily readable font.” (reported by Epoch News, June 19, 2024)
In Israel’s war with Gaza, we have been faced with many false rumors and lies about the Jewish people. The enemies of Israel, those who hate Jews and God, are filled with hate and delight to twist the truth to lure people into a web of evil. The Bible teaches that the enemies of Israel are the enemies of God (Psalm 83). More than 4,000 years ago, the Lord called the Jewish people into a special relationship with Him (Genesis 12:1-3). He called them to be His unique witnesses to display Who He is. He gave them the highest standards of moral conduct in the law of God, which are summarized in the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:1-17).
Israel’s army is called the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). Notice the word defense. If the world would take the time to read the Bible and to examine the pages of modern history, they would discover that the Jewish people are a people who love life and love people. They treat people with great respect, believing that human beings have been created in the image of God. When the IDF enters into battle they carry with them the moral foundation they have been taught in their homes and in their synagogues. There is no other army in the world that can make this claim.
I have been to Israel many times. I have witnessed the incredible respect and care that is offered to those who live in Israel. Unfortunately, those who hate Israel and are attempting to kill them must be treated differently. The Jewish people have the right to defend themselves against those who want to annihilate them. This is why their army is called the Israeli Defense Force.

The Lord promised Abraham that Israel would be “a blessing” to the nations (Genesis 12:2-3). In these last days, God continues to keep His promise. The Jewish nation of Israel is standing tall among the nations. It is a global leader that promotes real freedom, security, and peace. The world does not view Israel in a positive way. We must remember that we live in a world where good has become evil, and evil has become good. The enemies of God and Israel are wicked and promote deceptive lies against God and His people.
Today, Israel is leading the world in the fight for civilization. They are fighting the battle against the evil nations that are promoting Islam and communism. We are deeply indebted to them for leading the war against radical Islam and socialism.
I recently discovered an article by Gatestone Institute entitle “Israelis: The Heroes of our Time.” This article communicates the truth about Israel’s fight for freedom and democracy. Here are a few paragraphs from that article.
“The people of Israel are peace-loving. They do not eagerly seek to join battles, they do not desire to destroy and kill. Even so, they once again find themselves forced to defend their homeland, their faith, and their right to live in peace. Perturbingly, they are besieged by those who deny their right to exist. Terrorist organizations, such as Hamas and ISIS, in contrast, appear to be driven by aggression, at times even a lust for violence, believed by many to be divinely sanctioned.
“Notwithstanding immense peril to themselves personally, and their unprecedented commitment not to endanger anyone’s life unnecessarily, Israeli soldiers defend not only their ancestral place but also the core freedoms and the right to a home that frames Western civilization itself. At this time, however, Israelis seem to be alone in their task, and continually faced with obstacles their so-called allies place in the way of swift victory.

“The defenders of Israel are courageously overcoming challenges to their nation, their land and their faith. Israel is the only country in that part of the world embodying the institutions of democracy, individual freedom and human rights. Israel, like Ukraine and Taiwan, is worth fighting for. The citizens of Israel are sacrificing their lives so that we will not have to. The least we can do is get out of the way and be of help. They are heroes. Here in the West, the liberal media and political leadership believe and promote the idea that most of the Palestinians are a peaceful group of people who are not involved in the armed struggle against Israel. Many believe that there are a few Palestinians who participate in terrorist activities, but most Arabs who identify themselves as Palestinians are moderate in their dealings with Israel. However, these perceptions are false. According to Gatestone Institute, the truth is that most of the Palestinians support and participate in the armed struggle against Israel. Since November, the leadership of the Palestinians on the West Bank have been bragging that their terrorists, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, joined Hamas and other Islamic terrorist groups in the brutal attack against Israel on October 7, 2023. They publicized a video that shows some of their forces in October attacking Israelis. It will promote war, the genocide of the Jewish people, and the complete annihilation of the nation of Israel. The world needs to understand that the Arab Palestinian culture has promoted the death and destruction of the Jewish State since its founding in 1948. The Palestinian people are Muslims who have been brainwashed by their religion to hate Jews and to support an armed resistance against Israel. Their educational, political, and religious groups promote this Islamic agenda. There is no real hope for peace in the Middle East and the world until all non-Muslims accept these facts. We are witnessing the continuation of a holy war between heaven and hell. It is evident that most of the people in the West are living in spiritual darkness and are clueless to this reality. Our world is ripe for the final period of the spiritual war between God and Satan during the Tribulation Period. Get ready for the shout that will take us out!
On this Memorial Day we pay tribute to all of those who have served in the U.S. Military. We are deeply grateful to all of them, and especially those who paid the ultimate price. Our freedoms were given to us by God. However, the guarding and cherishing of these freedoms have been entrusted to us. I encourage all of you to take the time to watch this video. May it cause us to weep, pray, and to allow God to give us the strength and courage to guard the freedoms that come from the One and only God who is free and not bound to the will of man. We look forward to His Kingdom, where all will be free to serve and worship the Lord Jesus. We look forward to the time when there will be no more wars (Isaiah 2:4).
