Is the Ezekiel 38 War Imminent?

It is apparent that the Middle East is rapidly moving toward a major war that the prophet Ezekiel wrote about more than 2,600 years ago (Ezekiel 38-39). In the last few weeks Iran, Russia, and Turkey have issued threats about going to war with Israel. All three nations have stated that if Israel invades Lebanon and attacks Hezbollah, an Islamic terrorist group sponsored, trained, and funded by Iran, that they will go to war with Israel to defend Hezbollah, Gaza, and the Palestinian cause.

On Saturday, July 27th, Hezbollah fired a missile from Lebanon that struck a Druze village (an important ally of Israel) on the Golan Heights. More than a dozen children were instantly killed as they ran for cover. This missile is only one of hundreds of missiles that Hezbollah has fired into Israeli territories in the last month.

The world is calling for Israel to restrain itself. However, the following day after this tragic attack on the Golan Heights, Iran’s proxy agent CONTINUED to fire missiles into northern Israel. News is coming out of Israel that Israel is preparing for a massive retaliatory strike deep into Lebanese territory. Like Hamas, Hezbollah is using the Lebanese civilians as shields to protect themselves against Israel’s attack. The IDF attack will be aimed at Hezbollah’s missile stockpiles and its militant leadership. If Israel does not destroy Hezbollah’s ability to launch its deadly arsenal of precise deadly missiles and attack drones, then tens of thousand of Israelis will be killed. Israel has no choice but to defend itself!

If Iran, Russia, and Turkey are not bluffing, we could be looking at a massive ground invasion of Israel that will dwarf anything Israel has seen in it 76 years of modern history. It will be the same war that Ezekiel spoke about in Ezekiel 38-39. The Bible says that this massive invasion of Israel will appear “as a cloud to cover the land” (Ezekiel 38:9, 16).

God will supernaturally defend His land and His people by destroying the armies of these invading nations. He will send a massive global earthquake that will trigger the 14 dormant volcanoes that dot the landscape of the Golan Heights to erupt, spewing “an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone” (38:22), killing the armies of Iran, Russia, Turkey, and other radical Islamic nations that join them. Russia and many other nations will also be destroyed by God (Ezekiel 38:6).

The Bible states that this divine intervention by God will stun the entire world and bring Israel to a place of spiritual repentance (Ezekiel 38:23; 39:721-22). This will perfectly set the stage for the beginning of the Tribulation Period.

Friends, for years I have been preaching that the Rapture will occur before or at the same moment this battle occurs. If what we are witnessing does materialize, we are possibly only a matter of a few months or weeks away from the Rapture!

Be ready for the shout that will take us out!

French Jews Immigrating to Israel

The security for Jews living in Europe is disintegrating with the explosion of Anti-Semitism and the increased Muslim immigration to Europe, especially in France, Germany, and Great Britain. As a result, tens of thousands of Jews are immigrating to Israel.

“France’s next government will be led by the extreme left, and will necessarily be anti-Israel and pro-Hamas, to please the millions of Muslim voters. The next government in France will not even try to protect French Jews when they are attacked in the suburbs of Paris and Marseille, because if it does, there would be Muslim riots in the streets and many cars would be set on fire” (The Jewish Press, July 9, 2024). The Jewish leadership in France is telling their Jewish congregations there is no future for Jews in France.

This same situation is multiplying around the world, including in Russia and the United States. This is a direct fulfillment of biblical prophecy.

The Israeli Defense Force

In Israel’s war with Gaza, we have been faced with many false rumors and lies about the Jewish people. The enemies of Israel, those who hate Jews and God, are filled with hate and delight to twist the truth to lure people into a web of evil. The Bible teaches that the enemies of Israel are the enemies of God (Psalm 83). More than 4,000 years ago, the Lord called the Jewish people into a special relationship with Him (Genesis 12:1-3). He called them to be His unique witnesses to display Who He is. He gave them the highest standards of moral conduct in the law of God, which are summarized in the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:1-17).

Israel’s army is called the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). Notice the word defense. If the world would take the time to read the Bible and to examine the pages of modern history, they would discover that the Jewish people are a people who love life and love people. They treat people with great respect, believing that human beings have been created in the image of God. When the IDF enters into battle they carry with them the moral foundation they have been taught in their homes and in their synagogues. There is no other army in the world that can make this claim.

I have been to Israel many times. I have witnessed the incredible respect and care that is offered to those who live in Israel. Unfortunately, those who hate Israel and are attempting to kill them must be treated differently. The Jewish people have the right to defend themselves against those who want to annihilate them. This is why their army is called the Israeli Defense Force.

Israel is a Blessing

The Lord promised Abraham that Israel would be “a blessing” to the nations (Genesis 12:2-3). In these last days, God continues to keep His promise. The Jewish nation of Israel is standing tall among the nations. It is a global leader that promotes real freedom, security, and peace. The world does not view Israel in a positive way. We must remember that we live in a world where good has become evil, and evil has become good. The enemies of God and Israel are wicked and promote deceptive lies against God and His people.

Today, Israel is leading the world in the fight for civilization. They are fighting the battle against the evil nations that are promoting Islam and communism. We are deeply indebted to them for leading the war against radical Islam and socialism.

I recently discovered an article by Gatestone Institute entitle “Israelis: The Heroes of our Time.” This article communicates the truth about Israel’s fight for freedom and democracy. Here are a few paragraphs from that article.

“The people of Israel are peace-loving. They do not eagerly seek to join battles, they do not desire to destroy and kill. Even so, they once again find themselves forced to defend their homeland, their faith, and their right to live in peace. Perturbingly, they are besieged by those who deny their right to exist. Terrorist organizations, such as Hamas and ISIS, in contrast, appear to be driven by aggression, at times even a lust for violence, believed by many to be divinely sanctioned.

“Notwithstanding immense peril to themselves personally, and their unprecedented commitment not to endanger anyone’s life unnecessarily, Israeli soldiers defend not only their ancestral place but also the core freedoms and the right to a home that frames Western civilization itself. At this time, however, Israelis seem to be alone in their task, and continually faced with obstacles their so-called allies place in the way of swift victory.

“The defenders of Israel are courageously overcoming challenges to their nation, their land and their faith. Israel is the only country in that part of the world embodying the institutions of democracy, individual freedom and human rights. Israel, like Ukraine and Taiwan, is worth fighting for. The citizens of Israel are sacrificing their lives so that we will not have to. The least we can do is get out of the way and be of help. They are heroes. They deserve our gratitude and support” (Gatestone Institute, “Israelis: The Heroes of our Time,” June 2, 2024).

The United Nations is Unfit to Lead the World

The International governing body of the nations, the United Nations, continues to prove that it is unfit to have any authority over the nations. After the accidental death of Iran’s president, Ebrahim Raisi, in a helicopter crash in Iran, the UN has announced it will pay tribute to the memory of Raisi on May 30, 2024 in the General Assembly Hall. Raisi was known in Iran as “the butcher of Tehran.” He was a murderer with a lot of innocent blood on his hands.

It is tragic to note that this same body of international leaders still refuses to condemn Hamas’ attack upon innocent Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023. When people praise murders but condemn their innocent victims because they are Jews, it is a clear indication that these leaders cannot be trusted to make critical decisions concerning the lives of the nations. They have made evil good, and good evil. The Bible condemns such diabolical actions. The Bible declares, “Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20).

The world is at war with God (Psalm 2). The Bible teaches that the world will be united against Israel when the end of this age comes. We have arrived at that point in history. God has promised that He will not forsake His people – Israel. When Christ returns to this earth, He will destroy the enemies of Israel as He fights for His people (Zechariah 14:1-3, 12). This evil generation is rushing toward its divine appointment with the Holy One of Israel.
