Israel hosted a trilateral security meeting with the chief security advisors of Israel, Russia, and the United States on June 25-26 in Jerusalem. The discussion focused on Iran, Syria, and other regional concerns. In spite of the concerns that Iran is defiantly creating nuclear weapons grade materials and developing and testing ballistic missile systems to deliver them, Russia’s advisor continued to support Iran’s efforts in the Middle East. With the following comments, it is apparent that Russia seems oblivious to the ongoing Iranian threats to destroy Israel.
“Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said in Jerusalem on [June25] that ‘Iran has been and will be an ally and partner of ours, with which we have gradually developing ties for quite some time, both bilaterally and multilaterally. Any attempts to make Tehran look like the main threat to global security, to put it in the same basket as ISIS or any other terror group, are unacceptable. Iran has been contributing a lot to the fight against terrorism in Syria, helping to stabilize the situation. We call upon our partners to exercise restraint and to take efforts to alleviate the concerns and tensions. Efforts should be made to decrease tensions between Israel and Iran.’” (int.icej.org)
These statements certainly indicate that our world is moving toward the war of Gog and Magog, mentioned in Ezekiel 38-39. At the center of this war is the alliance of Russia, Iran, and Turkey. Russia’s view of the tensions in the Middle East are the same as Iran’s. They both see Israel as the problem for the lack of regional peace and security. These evil nations have the same interests.
Ezekiel 38-39 is a topic of great interest in Israel at this current time. It is only a matter of time. It is my opinion that this war will likely take place before the Rapture of the church. Get ready for the shout that will take us out!
