It Is About Time They Faced the Truth

“As far as Israel is concerned, denial of the Jewish historical and religious connection to this land, and especially to Jerusalem, is the primarily roadblock to peace at present.” (www.israeltoday.co.il) Finally, the U.S. administration is standing with Israel on this issue. When President Trump stated that his recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was based upon reality, he was shaking up the world of lies, deception and fake history and news. For too long the governments of the world have tried to appease the Palestinians and Muslims in the Middle East by making compromises for peace that were not based upon facts. If you want reconciliation between two parties or people that are verbally seeking reconciliation, they must both face reality, not how they feel or what they believe, but what are the real facts. What people believe and how they live must be based upon facts and honesty.

President Trump’s team is reminding the Palestinian leadership that they must stop denying the Jewish historical connection to Jerusalem and the Promised Land. This is proven by the Bible, archeology, and many secular historical records, including Muslim historical records. The denial of all of this began with Yasser Arafat and has been repeated to an entire generation of Muslims that believe these lies. I applaud our current administration for finally standing on the side of truth. It is about time the Muslims of the world face the truth, which is supported by their holy books, including the Koran.

Many Israelis also blame their own government in its attempt to deny reality and to appease those who are sworn to the destruction of the Jewish state. A recent article in Israel Today addresses this with the following remark: “The current Israeli-Palestinian conflict is itself an example of the persistent failure of short-term deals made to keep the ‘peace’ with Arab parties ever since the Balfour Declaration was published 100 years ago. Instead of getting on with it and immediately implementing its declared goal – the resettlement of Jews from the diaspora in the Promised Land – we dithered and dallied for decades in a fruitless effort to please all parties. The enemies of Israel saw it as weakness, which they exploited to the hilt with violence that had us chasing our tails looking for a way out of the awesome responsibility we had been given.” (www.israeltoday.co.il)

Arab Leader Calls for Religious Tolerance and Denounces the anti- Israel Boycott

According to World Israel News, the King of Bahrain recently released a document calling for religious peace. The report declares: “The Bahrain Declaration on Religious Tolerance, described by the Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) as a ‘plain-speaking attack against terrorism,’ authored by King Hamad al Khalifa of Bahrain, was released last week at an historic event co-sponsored SWC at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles.

‘The document, the first of its kind to be written by an Arab head of state, calls for people of all faiths to show respect for, and protection of, the rights of everyone to practice their religious affiliations in dignity and peace,’ SWC announced.

“‘Every individual has the freedom to practice their religion, providing they do no harm to others, respect the laws of the land, and accept responsibility, spiritually and materially, for their choices,’ the Bahraini declaration reads.”

“The Bahrain Declaration ‘is a statement devoid of political correctness,’ Rabbi Abraham Cooper, SWC’s associate dean, said. ‘It’s exactly the language that millions of people around the world have been waiting for. We know there are moderates, but who is going to stand up and articulate it. So to have an Arab head of state tackle these issues is a game changer.’”

“The Jerusalem Post reported that Arab officials stood in respect as the Bahrain National Orchestra played ‘Hatikva,’ Israel’s national anthem, preceded by the Bahraini and US national anthems.”

As I read this report two things came to mind. First, I wonder how this move among Arab states will play into the deception of the Antichrist’s covenant of deception that will begin the Tribulation Period. (See Daniel 9:27.) Second, there is coming a time at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom when all of the Arab states will be saved and have a genuine change of heart toward the Jewish State. Read about that in Isaiah 60:6-14, 18.

A Massive Jewish Exodus of European Jews to Israel

As our world moves deeper into a cycle of dangerous Islamic terrorism and anarchy, a growing number of European Jewish people are thinking about immigrating to Israel. Following the recent terrorist attack in Barcelona, a prominent Rabbi in Spain spoke to his fellow Jews, encouraging them to make plans now to immigrate to Israel. He is admonishing them to not wait until it is too late, like in previous generations.
Surveys among Jews living in the UK indicate that due to the increase of anti-Semitic attacks, one-third of them are thinking about immigration to Israel.

The Scriptures indicate that we are witnessing an ongoing immigration of the Jews back to their ancient homeland. Almost one-half of the world’s Jews are now living in Israel. According to the Bible, when the Kingdom Age begins, every Jew will have returned home to Israel. God says that His people will know that He is the LORD their God when He has “gathered them into their own land, and have left none of them any more [in their enemies’ lands]. (Ezekiel 39:28)

Concerns About Yellowstone Volcanic Eruption

Some scientists are expressing a great concern over the potential that the very large dormant volcano at Yellowstone State Park could be moving toward a major eruption. As thousands of people descended upon the Park to observe the solar eclipse on August 21st, they were greeted with a 3.2 earthquake. This quake followed a 2.5 quake the day before. There have been thousands of earthquake tremors in the park this summer.
